On Love and Valentine’s Day

Ever since we got married, Dan has made me lunch and includes paper-towel art. It’s so cute and heartfelt and brings a little excitement and joy to each day! Sometimes they’re funny, sometimes sentimental, sometimes completely random, but I am always excited to see what’s in store when I open my lunchbox. It’s a small gesture that means a lot to me. Here is a select assortment for your viewing pleasure:

Not to brag or anything, but seriously, how cute is that? Dan, I love you!

What gestures do you make for your loved ones? With it being Valentine’s Day and all, I’ve been thinking about the people I love, and how nice it is to show them I care – not just through words and actions – but also through little gestures (a random gift that made me think of them, a postcard, even a text or call just to say hi).  So, while I find Valentine’s Day to be a little cheesy and manufactured, it is a nice reminder to spread a little love! Happy Valentine’s Day!
