The Grand Budapest Hotel

We saw Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel Saturday night. I love his movies: the colors, the stories, the quirky characters…they’re so fantastical, almost like animation in execution, and always have a sweet message as well. My favorites are The Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom and The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Grand Budapest Hotel did not disappoint. The whole movie was imbued with the beautiful, saturated colors of royal blue, red, pink and orange, with hints of canary yellow, powder blue and gray. It kind of reminded me of Moroccan decor, which I love, so I was inspired to put together some summery outfits bases on this color palate:
