Are you a worrier?
I came across the above graphic on this post on Cup of Jo today…it’s funny because it’s true. I definitely have a tendency to (over?) analyze my interactions and worry about them after. In fact, I remember growing up calling my mom or dad into my room practically every night to discuss my worries and talk through what happened to make sure I handled situations properly. After we had talked through everything and I felt reassured, I could fall asleep.
So, since yesterday was my birthday, here’s to working on being in the present and not wasting energy worrying about past events that cannot be changed. And, if you are feeling stressed, anxious or just need a mental break, pictures of cute animals usually does the trick :)
