Happy New Year!

Wow – I cannot believe today is the last day of 2015! It was a year of highs and a few lows, but we got the best news of all this year – a sweet baby is on the way! I like to do a quick post every New Year’s Eve to reflect on the past as we look forward to the coming year. So, without further ado, here goes!

Best of 2015

-I started a new hobby of weaving. It’s a great creative outlet and I enjoy making something with my hands. I have a few on Etsy here!

-My Gramps did the Honor Flight to Washington DC and we welcomed all the vets back to a ceremony – a truly awesome experience to witness and pay homage to the men and women who served our country during WWII.

-We did our first Euro trip since college to England and it was amazing! You can see my travelogues here, here, here and here.

-We celebrated Lulu and Teddy’s birthdays – love them so much!

-I took a pasta making class with Dan and two friends.

-We went to Union Pier, MI with my family (pups included) and had a great time!

-On September 14th, we found out we are expecting! Best day ever ;)

-We went back to the Chicago Botanic Garden on a warm fall day.

-Dan and I took a relaxing trip to Roanoke, IN to take in the beautiful fall colors.

-We dressed up as Margot and Richie Tenenbaum for Halloween.

And finally, we celebrated the holidays – always an amazing time of year and just yesterday found out the gender of our baby!
